Adam Sanderson of RM Convinces Court to Permit Infringement Suit to Move Forward Against Comcast

Reese Marketos Partner Adam Sanderson represents WhereverTV in an infringement lawsuit against Comcast, alleging that Comcast is infringing on WhereverTV’s Xfinity media platform. Comcast attempted to have the lawsuit put on hold while the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office reviews the patent at issue. The U.S. District Court in Florida refused Comcast’s request for a stay, permitting the lawsuit to move forward. The Court agreed that it would be prejudicial to WhereverTV to put a hold on the case now, with extensive discovery and trial preparation already well underway.
