Allison Cook is a commercial trial and appellate lawyer who represents businesses and individuals in high-stakes litigation. She has experience in a wide variety of commercial and tort litigation, particularly in the areas of securities, fraudulent transfers, civil conspiracy (RICO Act), breach of contract, and breach of fiduciary duty. Her recent trial experience includes representing a self-directed IRA custodian against allegations of violations of the Texas Securities Act and representing an individual in a civil rights action alleging prison guards of misconduct.*
Before joining Reese Marketos, Allison worked as a litigation associate at Jackson Walker LLP. After several years in private practice, Allison gained valuable insight as a law clerk to the Honorable Karen Gren Scholer for the Northern District of Texas.
Allison obtained her juris doctor degree from SMU Dedman School of Law, where she graduated as the valedictorian and served as the Editor-in-Chief of the SMU Law Review.
